Who doesn’t dream of being part of a soccer World Cup at one day as a kid? This dream came true for the Young Bafana players Razor and Prof. As part of the initative “Football for Friendship” Young Bafana could beat the competition and win the race for the FIFA ambassador mandate for South Africa.
After recieving the promise and dealing with visa issues, the two young talents took the first flight – even the first journey – of their lives and flew from Cape Town via Dubai to Mosow.
There, Razor’s job was to carry a flag onto the pitch before matches, what he even got to do during the opening ceremony, where he proudly carried the South African flag – a real goosebumps moment. Prof was allowed to overtake the role of a journalist. During their tasks they got to know kids from all over the world. It was an unbelievable journey and experience for both of them!
